Mission Statement
Deployed Entertainment’s mission is to use our extensive technology and military experiences to deliver various entertainment products and services to increase the morale of soldiers and sailors deployed around the world.
Company Overview
Here at Deployed Entertainment, our #1 service package is our Fantasy Football Tournament. Our low bandwidth website and services are geared to meet your needs while underway. During the 2008 football season, the USS Ronald Reagan ran a Fantasy Football Tournament during their 2008 Western Pacific (WESTPAC) Deployment. The tournament was a huge success! Check out some of the feedback as proof.
Deployed Entertainment has capitalized on the Reagan’s Tournament Model with vast improvements. We’ve taken the lessons learned from 2008 WESTPAC Tournament model only to make the experience for our service members more enjoyable and reliable through shore-based facilitation and email-based correspondence.
In 2009 our clientele grew serving ships homeported out of San Diego and Japan. Feedback from those tournaments proved to be just as positive as the 2008 WESTPAC Tournament.
In 2010, we added more games and contests for our deployed service members starting with the Men’s NCAA Basketball Championship in March.
In 2011, now that the NFL season is on, we plan to continue our dedicated service; furthermore, 2011 is the first year we introduced the Deployed Entertainment Fantasy Football Invitational. Following the regular season, we invited the best fantasy football contestants from each unit to compete during the NFL Playoffs.
Although our website will always be up and running, we realize that service members will not always be able to get online, or have enough bandwidth to peruse the internet for information. Our low bandwidth site will allow for fast and easy access with no banners or advertisements to bog you down. Can’t get online, no worries. We also provide constant emails with player news, updates, and stats. You can even submit your starting line-ups via email.

Company Background
Deployed Entertainment, LLC was formed in January 2009. The idea for the company came from the USS Ronald Reagan 2008 Western Pacific Deployment when a team of dedicated Fantasy Football players got together to start up a ship-wide tournament.
After soliciting over nine different hosting companies, MyFantasyLeague.com was the only company to come through with an efficient tournament format, "Start 'Em Once."
The tournament was a huge success, with 154 teams participating and over $8000 in prizes awarded by the ship’s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) committee.
Some of the challenges during the tournament were the internet connectivity and limited bandwidth onboard. It quickly became apparent that shore-based facilitation would solve many of these problems; hence the idea of Deployed Entertainment was born.
Chris DeWeese founded Deployed Entertainment, LLC. He’s a Veteran with a degree in Computer Science. He served in the Navy for nine years and completed three deployments, including one as a Communications Officer on a large deck. He began playing fantasy football since 1991, when he used USA Today to manually compile scores. After serving in the Navy and playing fantasy football for so many years, he thought Deployed Entertainment was the perfect opportunity to combine his experiences.
Utilizing the Reagan's tournament model as a starting point, Deployed Entertainment also incorporated vast improvements like shore-based facilitation and email-based correspondence to help make the fantasy football experience more enjoyable for the crew.
Our Promise to You, the Service Member
